Terms and conditions.

Last updated: 10.06.2026 · Version 1.0

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails.

1. General information

The website insolvens.ro (the "Website") is operated by:

Gherghe Aurelian Individual Insolvency Practice
Tax ID (CUI): 20185620
Address: Str. Maximilian Popper nr. 30, Bl. F6, Sc. 1, Et. 3, Ap. 9, Sector 3, Bucharest
Email: contact [at] insolvens [dot] ro
Phone: 0723 275 446

The head of the practice is an insolvency practitioner, member of the National Union of Insolvency Practitioners of Romania (UNPIR), operating under GEO 86/2006 on the organization of the activity of insolvency practitioners and Romanian Law 85/2014 on insolvency-prevention and insolvency proceedings.

Using the Website implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.

2. Informational nature of the content

The content of the Website is strictly informational and does not constitute legal advice. The articles, guides, FAQ answers, glossary and document templates are general materials that cannot replace the analysis of a concrete situation by a professional.

Insolvency legislation changes frequently. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the content up to date, we do not guarantee that all information reflects the latest state of the law at all times. For your specific situation, contact the practice.

Use of the information or document templates on the Website is at your own risk. Merely using the Website or sending a message through the contact form does not create a professional relationship (client–practitioner) between you and the practice. Such a relationship arises exclusively through the conclusion of a contract.

3. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the practice is not liable for:

  • damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Website or the information published on it;
  • decisions made solely on the basis of the Website's informational content, without specialist advice;
  • the content of third-party websites linked from the Website (ANPC, UNPIR, public institutions etc.);
  • temporary interruptions in the operation of the Website, technical errors or third-party actions (cyber attacks).

4. Auction notices

The Auctions section publishes, for information purposes, notices regarding the realization of assets in the insolvency cases managed by the practice. The official documents of each sale (the sale publication, the realization rules, the terms of sale) prevail over the information displayed on the Website. Participation in auctions takes place exclusively under the conditions set by the procedural documents of each case.

5. Intellectual property

The content of the Website — texts, structure, graphics, logo — is protected by copyright law. Quoting is permitted with attribution (a link to the cited page). Full or substantial reproduction of the content for commercial purposes, without written consent, is prohibited.

The document templates in the Templates section may be downloaded and used free of charge for the user's own needs, without the right of commercial redistribution.

6. Use of the Website

You undertake to use the Website in good faith. The following are prohibited:

  • sending abusive messages, spam or illegal content through the contact form;
  • attempts to compromise the security of the Website (unauthorized access, vulnerability scanning, overloading);
  • mass automated extraction of content for purposes other than legitimate indexing by search engines and AI assistants (see /llms.txt).

7. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Information about cookies can be found in the Cookie Policy.

8. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute shall be resolved amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts in Bucharest.

Consumers may also use the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms:

9. Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. The current version, with the date of the last update, is permanently published on this page. Continued use of the Website after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
